“We put all our effort into the game”.<\/strong><\/p>\n Creating a brand-new IP can prove risky at the best of times, yet when Danganronpa<\/a> creator Kazutaka Kodaka<\/strong> mentioned<\/a> that Too Kyo Games’ latest venture, The Hundred Line: Last Defense Academy<\/a>, had effectively plunged the studio into debt, it demonstrated just how much he and collaborator Kotaro Uchikoshi<\/strong> (Zero Escape<\/a>, AI: The Somnium Files<\/a>) believe in their vision.<\/p>\n Launching on Switch on 24th April 2025, The Hundred Line looks to combine the visual novel approach of Danganronpa with tactical gameplay that might be more akin to Fire Emblem<\/a><\/strong> or Into The Breach<\/a>. It boasts a vast, eclectic cast that, if past works are anything to go by, will no doubt be completely expendable after they are forced to defend a school from invading creatures.<\/p>\n
