Ajahn Brahm

Born in London in 1951 as Peter Betts, Ajahn Brahm (full name is Brahmavanso) is a Theravada Buddhist monk currently the abbot
of Bodhinyana Monastery, in Serpentine, Western Australia.
He studied theoretical physics in Cambridge, and after graduating he taught in high school for one year before traveling to
Thailand to become a monk and train with Ajahn Chah (a Therevadan monk in the Thai forest tradition who also trained many western students including Jack Kornfield and Ajahn Sumedho).

He has many videos and (Dharma) talks on the internet (and new ones recorded live every Friday) and his clear and funny teachings are very uplifting
and easy to follow.
Even for those who are not Buddhist everyone can find great wisdom and advice on everyday life in his talks (also being very fun to listen to).
